I have been practising yoga for the last 12 years and have been giving group and individual classes on a regular basis.

Yoga has always been a part of me. Born and brought up in India and observing my father do his daily yoga practise instilled in me an interest for it.

My real journey began when I moved to Spain at age 25 and felt the need to learn more. I happened to learn about a yoga course by Art of living foundation in 2002. It  was a beautiful experience.

I further planned to train as a Yoga teacher with Sivananda Yoga in 2011. I felt a big change in my energy levels, moods and blood circulation apart from a positive attitude.

Having a keen interest in natural medicine I decided to study Ayurveda, the age old Indian system of medicine. Yoga and Ayurveda being sister sciences, one to balance the mind and the other the body, drove me to study both.

AYURVEDA, the age old natural system of medicine from India, helps us know how we can bring about harmony within us. In 2010  I  did a course as as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Councellor compiled by Dr David Frawley (American Institute of Ayurvedic Sciences). I further completed a course on Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle at Ayurveda Pura Academy in London.

My other interests include: music, walks in nature, painting, watercolour, acrylics and oils. (self taught artist)

It gives me immense satisfaction to teach Yoga and observe how it brings about a sense of calmness and joy in others and that further gives me energy to continue my practice.
